Banneker-Douglass Museum

Named for native Marylanders, Benjamin Banneker and Frederick Douglass, the museum is dedicated to preserving Maryland's African-American heritage and culture. It is also an official program in the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom. The museum is housed within the former Mount Moriah Methodist Episcopal Church, built in 1874.
